The Plate Spinner
Every output has an operator.
A solitary figure in a dark-myth circus tent, running the show in cold rain. Twelve plates spin on poles above one table. The audience watches the plates. No one watches the hand. This is the specific loneliness of sustained excellence — the virtuoso whose mastery became invisible the moment it became reliable.

Every output has an operator.
A solitary figure in a dark-myth circus tent. Twelve plates spin on poles above a single table. The audience watches the plates. No one watches the hand.
This is the specific loneliness of sustained excellence — the virtuoso whose mastery became so reliable that the mastery itself went invisible. The reveal arc opens on what the crowd already sees, lingers on the crowd looking past him, then shows the hand, the feet in the mud, and finally the operator alone. The trick is never explained.
